Who is ThelmaLou?

 

ThelmaLou Creations LLC., otherwise known as Thelma and Louise. However we very well could be Lucy & Ethel, Laverne & Shirley, or Wilma & Betty. We are simply two women, two best friends, whose paths crossed because of an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Thelma is the brains behind the brawn. She has a Masters Degree in Special Education and is a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 20 years of experience in field. Thelma (AKA: Pamela) runs and manages all the Empowered Prints Interns by doing an intake and developing an individual job skills program for each of them. Our goal is to give our interns and employees the tools to be successful while giving just enough to challenge them to reach beyond their goals.  

Lou is the brawn behind the brains with over 25 years of art, graphic design and production skills experience, she manages the physical training of the techniques and skills Thelma maps out for a business such as ours. Thelma plants the seeds and Lou helps the interns to grow, with Thelma's guidance.   

ThelmaLou’s mission is to create a business platform through our Empowered Prints Internship Program which would provide a stable learning environment for adults with developmental disabilities. By providing education through skills such as graphic design, marketing, e-commerce, social communication, purchasing, packaging, and more, we will be able to educate, provide employment, financial freedom and encourage independence.
